The Recycled Glass Bottle Xylophone

mmmmmm.....
Last week saw me let loose on the airwaves on Andy Whittaker's Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Nottingham, for which I am normally only allowed to answer phones, make tea, let guests in and stuff!
A lady had a shed full of glass bottles that she couldn't get to a recycling bin.
When my comments to the producer of the programme that a recycled glass Xylophone could be made were met with some scepticism, I did it, recorded the consequences and sent them to him.
It was quite a shock when I was invited onto the (News based!) show to demonstrate it!
Not only were compliments and comments coming in by the end, but it was to end up in the highlights of the week show - even though it was (Quite literally) a load of rubbish!
It may be comforting to those with sensitive ears that I doubt I will be allowed a microphone (On a station that a reasonable number of people may be listening to / offended by!) again for some time!
